What is Babylon?

It is Anti-Christ. ALL those to whom Christ will say, at his appearing, "Those mine enemies who would not that I should reign over them, bring hither and slay them before me." It is every thing belonging to the wine of the earth, which, at the appearance of one like the Son of man on a white cloud, is to be reaped, and cast into the great wine-press of the wrath of God.

What is Anti-Christ? See 1 John 4:1-3 (KJV) 4 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. Babylon = "religious bodies that were once pure and have become corrupt" —Ellen G. White, The Great Controversy, p. 382.3.

"All who will not bow to the decree of the national councils and obey the national laws to exalt the sabbath instituted by the man of sin, to the disregard of God's holy day, will feel, not the oppressive power of popery alone, but of the Protestant world, the image of the beast." Ellen G. White, Selected Messages, Book 2, Page 380.

"We have, as had John (the Baptist), a message to bear of the things which we have seen and heard [the OLD ADVENTIST DOCTRINES from 1830-1894]. God is NOT giving us a NEW message. We are to proclaim THE MESSAGE [1st and 2nd Angel's Message! Rev. 14:6-8] that in 1843 and 1844 brought us OUT of the other churches. We need the Holy Spirit to kindle in our hearts the zeal and earnestness that were then seen among God's people. I thank the Lord that there are still living a few who can remember those days, and who know whereof they speak" Ellen G. White, Review and Herald , Jan 19th 1905.

Apostate Protestantism. The ONLY church since 1844 that has the truth and as a NEW ORGANIZATION (1SM204) in 1904 apostized from that organic original truth is the now worldwide GENERAL CONFERENCE SEVENTH DAY ADVENTIST church operating as a government controlled IRS contracted fictitious entity structure that "storm and tempest will sweep away": "I then saw the THIRD ANGEL. Said my accompanying angel, 'Fearful is his work. Awful is his mission. He is the angel that is to SELECT THE WHEAT FROM THE TARES, AND SEAL, OR BIND, THE WHEAT FOR THE HEAVENLY GARNER." –{Early Writings, 118}

The foolish virgins, the Laodiceans (lukewarm, spewed out) church are REBELS against Christ. The rebels have closed and bolted the door against the Spirit of Christ. "The work of the Holy Spirit is immeasurably great. It is from this source that power and efficiency come to the worker for God; and the holy Spirit is the Comforter, as the PERSONAL PRESENCE OF CHRIST TO THE SOUL. He who looks to Christ in simple, child-like faith, is made a partaker of the divine nature through the agency of the Holy Spirit. When led by the Spirit of God, the Christian may know that he is made complete in Him who is the head of all things. As Christ was glorified on the day of Pentecost, so will he again be glorified in the closing work of the gospel, when he shall prepare a people to stand the FINAL TEST, in the closing conflict of the great controversy." Ellen G. White, HM November 1, 1893, Art. A, par. 28.

“As great power and glory attended the closing work, the faithful people of God will partake of that glory. It is the latter rain [reviving the TESTIMONIES of the early SDA Protestant pioneers! Their books, sermons, tracts are REPEATED TODAY!] which REVIVES and strengthens them to pass through the time of trouble. Their faces will shine with the glory of that light which attends the third angel.” Testimonies, vol 1, p 353.

"And I will bring you out from the people, and will gather you out of the countries wherein ye are scattered, with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out. And I will bring you into the wilderness of the people, and there will I plead with you face to face. LIKE AS I PLEADED WITH YOUR FATHERS IN THE WILDERNESS OF THE LAND OF EGYPT, SO WILL I PLEAD WITH YOU, SAITH THE LORD GOD. And I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant: And I WILL PURGE OUT FROM AMONG YOU THE REBELS, and them that transgress against me: I will bring them forth out of the country where they sojourn, and they shall not enter into the land of Israel: and ye shall know that I am the Lord. As for you, O house of Israel, thus saith the Lord God; Go ye, serve ye every one his idols, and hereafter also, if ye will not hearken unto me: but pollute ye my holy name no more with your gifts, and with your idols." Ezekiel 20:34-39.

IT IS A "GREAT TEST" FOR THE PEOPLE OF GOD TO GO OUT OF THIS APOSTATE CATHOLIC 501(c)(3) GENERAL CONFERENCE SEVENTH DAY ADVENTIST churches worldwide:"The Lord has shown me clearly that the image of the beast [501c3 GC SDA organization EIN # 52-0643036] will be formed before probation closes, for it is to be the GREAT TEST for the people of God, by which their eternal destiny will be decided"--2SM 81 (1890).

“Our message is a life-and-death message, and we must let this message appear as it is, – the great power of God. Then the Lord will make it effectual. We are to present it in all its telling force.” RH May 22, 1900, par. 20

The great test for God's people today is to come out of the 501(c)3 offshoot from the 3 angel's messages GENERAL CONFERENCE SEVENTH DAY ADVENTIST churches worldwide and come back into the old SDA beliefs intensely studying the old early SDA pioneer books, sermons, articles and tracts. LOUD CRY: "TO THOSE WHO GO OUT TO MEET THE BRIDEGROOM IS THIS MESSAGE GIVEN." Christ’s Object Lessons, p. 420.3

Go OUT of what? Go out of ALL churches affiliated with this apostate 501(c)(3) GENERAL CONFERENCE SEVENTH DAY ADVENTIST "new organization" (1SM204) worldwide!!! “We shall be called to meet those who notwithstanding definite reproof and warning through the Testimonies have gone on in an evil course. We are bidden of God to hold ourselves separate and distinct from these men who have not given heed to His warning… For they deceive , if possible , the very elect. -Letter 330, November 11, 1906 & Manuscript Releases, vol 7, 196

This was way back in 1892 after the infamous 1888 fiasco: “Now those who have had years in this same experience, know not God nor Jesus Christ whom He has sent, and should such go forth as representatives of Jesus Christ? These men will never give the right mold to other minds; they have grown up to the full stature of men and women in Christ. They simply have the name of Christians but are not fitted for the work of God, and never will be until they are born again, and learn the A.B.C. in true religion of Jesus Christ. There is a little hope in one direction: Take the young men and women, and place them where they will come as little in contact with our churches as possible, that the low grad of piety which is current in the day shall not leaven their ideas of what it means to be a Christian” -Letter 16f, May 9, 1892 & Manuscript Releases, vol 12, p 332-333.

"Then in the time of trouble I heard them cry to God in agony--"Why didst thou not show us our wrong, that we might have got right and been ready for this time?" Ellen White: Broadside #2 1849/01/31.

"We are to proclaim the message that in 1843 and 1844 brought us out of the other churches" Ellen G. White, Review and Herald , Jan 19th 1905. Were the "other" churches Babylon? YES! Is the offshoot from original organic Protestant early SDA doctrines, the 501(c)(3) SDA worldwide Church with 25+ million members, Babylon? YES!

We are to come OUT of this offshoot since 1904 SDA in name only new organization and back into the Protestant early SDA pioneer truths! Daily advancing in the light! Not backsliding back into what the early SDA pioneers had come out of in 1843-1844!

"As a people we have been greatly humiliated by the course that some of our brethren in responsible positions have taken in departing from the old landmarks [the 3 Angel's Messages that brought us out of the other churches, the cutting truths that circumcise our hearts, our daily choices from pagan traditions of men]. ... We need to realize that God has given us a decided message of warning for the world, even as He gave Noah a message of warning for the antediluvians" Testimonies, Vol. 7, page 107 (emphasis supplied).

How DO Seventh Day Adventist's CRUCIFY Christ AGAIN?

"As Jesus was crucified, so I saw that these messages have been crucified." The Great Controversy, 1858, page 75.

The messages that are crucified are the 3 Angel's Messages as revealed through the early SDA Protestant pioneers who were keen, noble and true.

Those who reject the 3 angel's messages (Rev. 14:6-12) testimonies from the "faithful few", keen, noble and true such as William Miller, James White, Ellen White, Steven Haskell, John N. Andrews, Captain Joseph Bates, William Ward Simpson, Charles Fitch, Otis Nichols, and many more Protestant SDA pioneers, this great light given to the early SDA Protestant pioneers are crucifying Christ again.

As the disciple Thomas had to see to believe, and when Jesus gave him the evidence he had desired, Thomas cried out, My Lord and my God. But Jesus reproved Thomas for his unbelief. He said to him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou has believed; blessed are they that have not seen and yet believed.

"So, I saw", Ellen White writes in The Great Controversy, p. 75 in the original 1858 version, "that THOSE who had no experience in the first and second angels' messages [in 1843-1844] must receive them [today] from those who had an experience [early SDA protestant pioneers from 1830-1894: to believe on "their word" (2SM111.2)], and followed down through the messages. As Jesus was crucified, so I saw that these messages [old SDA landmarks] have been crucified. And as the disciples declared that there was salvation in no other name under heaven, given among men; so, also, should the servants of God faithfully and fearlessly declare that those who embrace but a part of the truths connected with the third message must gladly embrace the first, second and third messages as God has given them or have no lot in the matter".

“I have had presentations regarding the deceptions that Satan is bringing in at this time. I have been instructed that we should make prominent the testimony of some of the old workers who are now dead. Let them continue to speak through their articles as found in the early numbers of our papers. These articles should now be reprinted, that there may be a living voice from the Lord’s witnesses. The history of the early experiences in the message will be a power to withstand the masterly ingenuity of Satan’s deceptions. This instruction has been repeated recently. I must present before the people the testimonies of Bible truth, and repeat the decided messages given years ago. I desire that my sermons given at camp meetings and in churches may live and do their appointed work.—Letter 99, 1905. {Ellen White, 1905, Counsels to Writers and Editors, page 26}.

“When the power of God testifies as to what is truth, that truth is to stand forever as the truth. No after-suppositions, contrary to the light God has given are to be entertained. Men will arise with interpretations of Scripture which are to them truth, but which are NOT truth. The truth for this time, God has given us as a foundation for our faith. He Himself has taught us what is truth. One will arise, and still another, with new light which contradicts the light that God has given under the demonstration of His Holy Spirit. A few are still alive who passed through the experience gained in the establishment of this truth. God has graciously spared their lives to repeat and repeat till the close of their lives, the experience through which they passed even as did John the apostle till the very close of his life. And the standard- bearers who have fallen in death, are to speak through the reprinting of their writings. I am instructed that thus their voices are to be heard. "The Lord has declared that the history of the past shall be rehearsed as we enter upon the closing work. Every truth that He has given for these last days is to be proclaimed to the world. Every pillar that He has established is to be strengthened. We cannot now step off the foundation that God has established. We cannot now enter into any new organization; for this would mean apostasy from the truth"—Manuscript 129, 1905. (2SM 390.1)" Selected Messages Book 2, p. 390.1 (Ellen G. White).

OLD ADVENTIST DOCTRINES VS NEW ADVENTIST DOCTRINES!

Ellen White PREDICTED her writings and those of the Protestant early SDA pioneers would be rejected by the new, changed religion of the modern 501c3 ADVENTIST church denomination at the end of time: "The very last deception of Satan will be to make of none effect the testimony of the Spirit of God. ‘Where there is no vision, the people perish’ (Proverbs 29:18)" White, Ellen. Selected Messages, Book 1, (1958), page 48.

WHY? WHY ARE WE TO BELIEVE ON "THEIR WORD" (2SM111.2)??? Those who DO believe on "THEIR WORD", "will be safe from the many delusions that will come in in these last days" 8MR 320.2.

Backsliding Adventists, backsliding right back into what the early SDA Protestant pioneers brought God's people OUT of in 1843-1844:

“Those who seek to remove the old landmarks (changing to the Trinity doctrine from the early SDA pioneers non-trinity stance) are NOT holding fast; they are not remembering how they have received and heard. Those who try to bring in theories that would remove the pillars of our faith concerning the sanctuary or concerning the personality of God or of Christ [Trinity/Sanctuary doctrine], are working as BLIND MEN. They are seeking to bring in uncertainties and to set the people of God adrift without an anchor” MR769.5.

"In the balances of the sanctuary the Seventh-day Adventist Church is to be weighed. She will be judged by the privileges and advantages [great light setup at the beginning of Adventism = Old SDA pioneer doctrines, the platform of eternal truth] that she has had. If her spiritual experience does not correspond to the advantages that Christ, at infinite cost, has bestowed on her, if the blessings conferred have not qualified her to do the work entrusted to her, on her will be pronounced the sentence: "Found wanting." By the light bestowed, the opportunities given, will she be judged" —LDE 59.3.

“IN AMAZEMENT” “In amazement they hear the testimony that Babylon is the [corporate 501c3 SDA] church, fallen because of her errors and sins, because of her rejection of the truth sent to her from heaven.” The Great Controversy, p. 606. "A union of church and state [via a "new organization" (1SM204) CORPORATION!!! in 1904/1936 as 501c3] means a recognition of a spurious sabbath, and a failure to respect the conscientious observance of the Sabbath of the fourth commandment." [Manuscript Releases, vol. 12 [Nos. 921-999], p. 218.2].

How so?

"The image to the beast represents ANOTHER religious body clothed with similar powers (characteristics = same ideas, same mind as the first beast)."The Story of Redemption, p. 381.2, The Spirit of Prophecy Volume 4, p. 277.2.

[singular "body"- that arises from inside the United States - the second (2nd) "NEW ORGANIZATION" (1SM204) called a "Adventist" movement STARTED up, came up, in the United States in the District of Columbia in 1904]

"We have come to a time when God's sacred work is represented by the feet of the image in which the iron was mixed with the miry clay. God has a people, a chosen people, whose discernment must be sanctified, who must not become unholy by laying upon the foundation wood, hay, and stubble. Every soul who is loyal to the commandments of God will see that the distinguishing feature of our faith is the seventh-day Sabbath. If the government would honor the Sabbath as God has commanded, it would stand in the strength of God and in defense of the faith once delivered to the saints. But statesmen will uphold the spurious sabbath, and will mingle their religious faith with the observance of this child of the papacy, placing it above the Sabbath which the Lord has sanctified and blessed, setting it apart for man to keep holy, as a sign between Him and His people to a thousand generations. The mingling of churchcraft and statecraft is represented by the iron and the clay. This union is weakening all the power of the churches. This investing the church with the power of the state will bring evil results. Men have almost passed the point of God's forbearance. They have invested their strength in politics, and have united with the papacy. But the time will come when God will punish those who have made void His law, and their evil work will recoil upon themselves" -Manuscript Releases page 63, written in 1899.

How did these apostate evil SDA leaders (Isaiah 9:16) make void the Law of the God of Heaven?

BY CREATING THIS CORPORATION in 1904/1936/1950 THE GENERAL CONFERENCE LEADERS AGREED TO ACCEPT SUNDAY AS THEIR DAY OF WORSHIP AND TO WORSHIP THE TRINITY VIA THEIR CONTRACT MARRYING THE STATE!!!! "Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That it shall be unlawful for any person or corporation, or employee of any person or corporation in the District of Columbia, *to perform any secular labor or business, or to cause the same to be performed by any person in their employment on Sunday,* except works of necessity or mercy; nor shall it be lawful for any person or corporation to receive pay for labor or services performed or rendered in violation of this act ...." "...In this connection let me say, gentlemen, that the District of Columbia has just the same kind of a Sunday law as that of Ohio. This law of the District of Columbia was in force when this book was issued which I hold in my hand, which was April 1, 1868; and I am told that this law (which I will read) was re-enacted in 1874. I now quote from the law. Section 1 provides that- *'If any person shall DENY THE TRINITY,* he shall, for the first offense, be bored through the tongue, and fined twenty pounds; ... and for the second offense, the offender being thereof convict as aforesaid, shall be stigmatized by burning on the forehead with the letter B, and fined forty pounds; and for the third offense, the offender being thereof convict as aforesaid, shall suffer death, without the benefit of the clergy

.' Section l0 of the same law has this:- *'No person whatever shall do any bodily labor on the Lord's day, commonly called Sunday* ... Now, gentlemen, that law has never been repealed." How can you be Protestant and a "new organization" (1SM204) CORPORATION at the same time? Didn't Martin Luther address this selling of indulgences for forgiveness of sins in his 95 Thesis nailed to the Church Door in Wittenberg Germany over 500 years ago?

Absolution: the act of forgiving someone for having done something wrong or sinful : the act of absolving someone or the state of being absolved specifically : a remission of sins pronounced by a priest (as in the sacrament of reconciliation) The rite of confessing one's sins to a priest and receiving absolution

THIS IS THE CORPORATE VERSION OF FORGIVENESS FOR A PRICE

To combine church and state via a CORPORATION entity controlled by the state creates the image to the beast, the combined authority of church and state (DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA).

"In a union of Church and State the Church becomes MARRIED, as it were, to the State..." Ellen G. White, Letter 51a, 1898:

Why is the STRUCTURE of a organization important? It is either based on Christ cornerstone that is a solid foundation, or man's invention of a legal fictitious structure/organization in name only, which time and tempest will sweep away.

Way back in 1888-1903 time-frame apostate wicked early SDA pioneers wanted to REORGANIZE and CHANGE the structure of the unincorporated, organic, original Protestant SDA movement into a "NEW ORGANIZATION" a CORPORATION setup and created in the DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA CORPORATION called UNITED STATES which is a FEDERAL ZONE and is not the organic original country we think of as "America." A CORPORATION simply called UNITED STATES in name only, not the unicorporated real county called the united States of America.

Think: two entities. either one or the other: organic Seventh Day Adventists vs CORPORATION "new organization" entity structure (1SM204) Seventh Day Adventists IN NAME ONLY. "The enemy of souls has sought to bring in the supposition that a great reformation was to take place among Seventh-day Adventists, and that this reformation would consist in giving up the doctrines which stand as the pillars of our faith, and engaging in a process of reorganization. Were this reformation to take place, what would result? The principles of truth that God in His wisdom has given to the remnant church, would be discarded. Our religion would be changed. The fundamental principles that have sustained the work for the last fifty years would be accounted as error. A new organization would be established. Books of a new order would be written. A system of intellectual philosophy would be introduced. The founders of this system would go into the cities, and do a wonderful work. The Sabbath of course, would be lightly regarded, as also the God who created it. Nothing would be allowed to stand in the way of the new movement. The leaders would teach that virtue is better than vice, but God being removed, they would place their dependence on human power, which, without God, is worthless. Their foundation [structure/"new organization"/fictitious entity/corporation in 1904/1936/1950 joining church and state which formed the image to the beast the very moment it was formed and increased in apostasy waxing stronger and stronger in error, sins and rejection of truth (3 angel's messages) until Jesus returns with a shout] would be built on the sand, and storm and tempest would sweep away the structure. " Ellen G. White, 1 Selected Messages, p. 204.2 [1SM 204.2]

"I WAS pointed down to the time when the third angel's message was closing. The power of God had rested upon His people; they had accomplished their work and were prepared for the trying hour before them. They had received the latter rain, or refreshing from the presence of the Lord, and the living testimony [early SDA Protestant pioneers doctrines] had been REVIVED. The last great warning had sounded everywhere, and it had stirred up and enraged the inhabitants of the earth who would not receive the message" Early Writings, p. 279.1. “There are many precious truths contained in the Word of God, but it is ‘present truth’ that the flock needs now. I have seen the danger of the messengers running off from the important points of present truth, to dwell upon subjects that are not calculated to unite the flock and sanctify the soul. Satan will here take every possible advantage to injure the cause. But such subjects as the sanctuary, in connection with the 2300 days, the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus, are perfectly calculated to explain the past Advent movement and show what our present position is, establish the faith of the doubting, and give certainty to the glorious future. These, I have frequently seen, were the principal subjects on which the messengers should dwell.” {EW 63.2}

ARE ALL MESSENGERS? An angel said, “Are all messengers? No, no, God’s messengers have A MESSAGE"

"The science of true education is the truth. The third angel's message is truth" T. Vol. 6, p. 131.

"As the end approaches, the testimonies of God's servants will become more decided and more powerful"--3SM 407 (1892).

“Those who engage in the solemn work of bearing the third angel's message, must move out decidedly, and in the Spirit and power of God, fearlessly preach the truth, and let it cut. They should elevate the standard of truth, and urge the people to come up to it. It has been lowered down to meet the people in their condition of darkness and sin. It is the pointed testimony that will bring up the people to decide. A peaceful testimony will not do this. The people have the privilege of listening to this kind of teaching from the pulpits of the day. But God has servants to whom he has entrusted a solemn, fearful message, to bring out and fit up a people for the coming of Christ. There is as great a difference in our faith and that of nominal professors, as the heavens are higher than the earth.” {Spiritual Gifts. Vol. 2, pages 299, 300}

The early SDA Protestant pioneers all believed that, “no church can be organized by man’s invention, but that it becomes Babylon the moment it is organized.” George Storrs, The Midnight Cry, February 15, 1844, page 238.

To INCORPORATE means to come UNDER ROME. TO GIVE ALLEGIANCE TO ROME.Notice the word ‘LEGIA’ in AL=TOWARDS, OR HAVING; LEGIA=LIEGE, means LORD, as in OF THE FLIES=BEELZEBUB, GOD OF THE DEAD...

The men listed here REJECTED the repeated warnings given by Sister White and other keen, noble and true early SDA Protestant pioneers from 1888 to 1904 and went on ahead and created a "new organization" (1SM204) CORPORATION in the DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, the CORPORATE "UNITED STATES" the FEDERAL ZONE by marrying the NEW ORGANIZATION to the STATE in a contract, by the joining of church and state together forming the image to the beast, in 1904, "another beast" of Revelation 13:11-18:

The Shaking a Counsel to Laodicea

“I asked the meaning of the shaking I had seen. I was shown that it would be caused by the straight testimony called forth by the counsel of the true Witness to the Laodiceans..” (Spiritual Gifts, vol. 1, pp. 184, 185)

Who are the Laodiceans?

“The message to the Laodiceans is applicable to SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTISTS who have great light and have not walked in the light.” (2 Selected Messages p. 66)

Laodicea does not represent the true Adventists, it represents Adventists who have not walked in the light, nominal Adventists, or professed Adventists. Captain Joseph Bates once wrote this plainly…

“First part, SARDIS, the nominal church or Babylon. Second part, Laodicea, the nominal Adventist. Third part, Philadelphia, the only true church of God on earth, for they ask to be translated to the city of God. Rev.iii,12; Heb.xii,22–24. In the name of Jesus, I exhort you again to flee from the Laodiceans, as from Sodom and Gomorrah. Their teachings are false and delusive; and lead to utter destruction. Death! DEATH!! eternal DEATH!!! is on their track. Remember Lot’s wife.” JOSEPH BATES. Fairhaven, Mass., Nov. 10, 1850. (The Adventist Review and Sabbath Herald, November 1850)

We are told straightly Laodicea represents nominal Adventists, or professed Adventists. They say they are Adventists and are not. Having a name on your organization makes them Adventist as much as calling yourself a Jew means you are a real Jew, or saying you are Abraham’s seed, but your real father is the devil. The true Adventist is not one which has a baptismal certificate which says he is a Seventh-day Adventist, but rather the true Adventist is one which is one inwardly, in the heart, in the spirit, whose praise is not of men, but of God.(See Rom 2:28, 29).

The bible tells the Philadelphians that there would be those who profess they are Jews and are not right before the second coming. The bible tells us they are not God’s church, but are the “synagogue of Satan”.

Rev 3:9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

That was written to the church of Philadelphia, which is God’s last true church. Ellen White identified these professed Jews in the above verse as “professed Adventists”.

“You think, that those who worship before the saint’s feet, (Rev 3:9), will at last be saved. Here I must differ with you; for God shewed me that this class were professed Adventists, who had fallen away, and “crucified to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put Him to an open shame.” And in the “hour of temptation,” which is yet to come, to show out every one’s true character, they will know that they are forever lost; and overwhelmed with anguish of spirit, they will bow at the saint’s feet.” (EGW A Word to the Little Flock, page 12)

In this passage we are shown that the “synagogue of Satan” in Revelation 3:9 is a church and says that they are Adventist, but are not. As Captain Joseph Bates put it “First part, SARDIS, the nominal church or Babylon. Second part, Laodicea, the nominal (in name only) Adventist. Third part, Philadelphia, the only true church of God on earth…”(The Adventist Review and Sabbath Herald, November 1850)

Philadelphia is “the only true church of God on earth” in this time. It has been since 1844 and will be until Jesus comes and we are warned to flee out of the midst of this Laodicean church by God himself and not to look back.

Notice in the following quote that those described as the Church of Philadelphia in Revelation 3:7-13 are the 144,000, the sealed. To be outside of this church in the time of the end, and in Laodicea will ensure that you receive the mark of the beast.

“The 144,000 were all sealed and perfectly united. On their foreheads was written, God, New Jerusalem, and a glorious star containing Jesus’ new name…Then it was that the synagogue of Satan knew that God had love us who could wash one another’s feet and salute the brethren with a holy kiss, and they worshiped at our feet.” (EGW Early Writings page 15)

Who is Laodicea? We have learned already that Laodicea represents Adventists who have had great light and not walked in it, also, professed Adventists, or nominal Adventists. Most who have some background on Seventh-day Adventism already understand who it is that I am talking about. Many times we quote the papacy and allow them to speak for themselves, to expose the truth about Babylon, the little horn, as well as the first beast of Revelation. Today there is another group who know very well who they are, but don’t understand the consequences of who they are. It is the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, an organization that says they are Adventist and are not, an organization of “professed Adventists”. From an article in the Adventist Review from August 2008 we read:

“Today we hesitate to claim we’re the remnant; but as for Laodicea, that’s us! Us alone!…No other Christian group vies with us for the dubious privilege of being identified with it….claiming exclusive rights to Laodicea is not politically incorrect. So, unchallenged, we’ve become anchored in the view that Seventh-day Adventists are the sole group envisioned in the apocalyptic concept of that term.” (Adventist Review, August 28, 2008, p 5.)

He is correct, just as Captain Joseph Bates was that they are not the remnant, but they are Laodicea, and regarding this nominal Adventist organization, we have a call to give them:

Call out of the Nominal (Professed) Adventist Churches

“I saw that God has honest children among the nominal Adventists and the fallen churches, and before the plagues shall be poured out, ministers and people will be called out from these churches and will gladly receive the truth. Satan knows this; and before the loud cry of the third angel is given, he raises an excitement in these religious bodies, that those who have rejected the truth may think that God is with them. He hopes to deceive the honest and lead them to think that God is still working for the churches. But the light will shine, and all who are honest will leave the fallen [501(c)(3)] churches, and take their stand with the remnant.” (Ellen White Early Writings 261).
